BonMot Natural Icecream / Food & Beverage

The project sought to create a brand that appealed to all consumer segments, not just vegans. The new brand needed to resonate in the U.S. market and connect with consumers in a memorable, fun, and meaningful way.

OBJECTIVES

Dashers, a local vegan ice cream brand in Monterrey, Mexico, aimed to expand its market throughout Mexico and into select U.S. cities. Initially perceived as a niche product for the vegan market, it struggled to achieve the mass appeal needed for its business goals.

CHALLENGE

We embraced a branding strategy centered on storytelling and pop culture-inspired characters to engage children, young adults, and adults alike. The tagline “Good For All” highlighted the product’s health benefits while fostering a fun, positive brand image. Packaging design broke away from industry and vegan product norms to make a bold statement.

STRATEGY AND SOLUTION

The process began with a strategic naming exercise to convey the brand’s international appeal, followed by the creation of engaging characters and attractive packaging. The brand’s physical store design reflected its core values, enhancing the overall brand experience.
